PCT in the Community – Houston Floods
At Premier Custom Travel, we are proud to live in the communities we serve. These residents aren’t just our customers – they’re also our friends and neighbors. So when they’re in need, we feel compelled to help. During the recent floods, Premier Custom Travel’s Scott McAlister worked tirelessly to help clean up damage to area homes and begin the rebuilding process.

Scott volunteered with Samaritan’s Purse and The Woodlands Church Disaster Relief Ministry in a joint effort to help flood victims in North Harris and Southern Montgomery Counties.
These teams went into homes that were flooded and where the homeowners did not have flood insurance. They provided services from personal material removal to full blown “mud-outs” where they remove the drywall above the wet-line, flooring and even insulation. In many cases it was necessary to remove cabinets that had water under them or the drywall behind them if it got wet.
The photos in the gallery below show the various stages of a full mud-out. In this particular home Scott’s team removed the drywall at the 48 inch mark.
