Reiner has fond memories of how much our guests enjoyed the drink, which he says &#8220;tastes delicious.&#8221; Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.premiercustomtravel.com\/blog1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/hot_chocolate_686x262_tcm70-35970.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-876\" alt=\"hot_chocolate_686x262_tcm70-35970\" src=\"http:\/\/www.premiercustomtravel.com\/blog1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/hot_chocolate_686x262_tcm70-35970-300x114.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"114\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.premiercustomtravel.com\/blog1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/hot_chocolate_686x262_tcm70-35970-300x114.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.premiercustomtravel.com\/blog1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/hot_chocolate_686x262_tcm70-35970.jpg 686w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><br \/>\nSeven ounces premium dark chocolate, grated<br \/>\nThree cups of low-fat milk<br \/>\nOne tablespoon granulated sugar<br \/>\nOne cup heavy cream, chilled<br \/>\nOne-half teaspoon vanilla paste (or vanilla extract, organic if possible)<br \/>\nOne tablespoon confectioners&#8217; sugar<br \/>\nCocoa powder or chocolate shavings for garnish<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><br \/>\nGently heat one cup milk with the grated chocolate. Simmer in a saucepan over low heat until all chocolate has dissolved. Combine the remaining milk and the granulated sugar in another saucepan and whisk until all sugar has dissolved. Gently heat while stirring. Add the chocolate mix to the sugared milk and continue simmering over low heat. Whisk heavy cream and vanilla together on high speed and slowly add the confectioners\u2019 sugar until peaks form. Remove hot chocolate from heat and divide into cups. Place a generous dollop of whipped cream on top of each.
