New Cruise Line To Debut in Galveston<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GALVESTON, TEXAS, April 1, 2023 \u2013 A fourth cruise line will soon call Galveston home when \u201cAmity Cruises\u201d makes its worldwide debut later this year in Texas. The company\u2019s first ship, ORCA, will arrive in the fall for a series of unique voyages sure to amaze even the most seasoned cruiser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests onboard ORCA can look forward to many exciting activities, including some of the best fishing on the Gulf Coast, snorkeling and the traditional evening sing-along. The ship\u2019s skipper, Captain Quint, is a seasoned fisherman with years of experience and a unique personality. His extensive time in the United States Navy makes him the perfect choice to command this vessel. Matt Hooper, an expert from the Oceanographic Institute, will serve as the ship\u2019s lecturer. Hooper is well-versed in many topics related to the planet\u2019s oceans and waterways and is eager to share his expertise with guests. Rounding out the ship\u2019s crew is Chief of Security Martin Brody, a former New York City police officer who, interestingly enough, took this job despite being afraid of the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Locals could not be more excited about this new cruise option. \u201cI\u2019ve been keeping my eye on the cruise trends in Galveston, and this one is a welcome addition,\u201d said Ben Gardner, an island resident and fisherman. Customers are clearly excited to book their trips as well. \u201cI\u2019d give an arm and a leg to be on the first voyage,\u201d enthused Chrissie Watkins, a college student attending classes at a nearby school. Local families are also looking forward to exploring the seas on ORCA. The Kintner family will be on the first sailing and son Alex is thrilled about the many included amenities. \u201cI love to float on my raft, so I was pleased to hear that inflatable yellow rafts are provided. The one I have at home is so huge that I get gobbled up whenever I go in the water,\u201d added the young boy.<\/p>\n\n\n

PREMIER CUSTOM TRAVEL has signed an exclusive agreement with Amity Cruises to be the exclusive booking agency for all sailings. The first sailing is expected to be available for bookings on April 31, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
