Exciting times for Carnival Cruise Line as they introduced today a new micro-brand as part of the overall Carnival experience. Carnival will be taking two beautiful Vista class ships from their Italian sister line Costa Cruises and offering them to North American guests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Carnival Cruise Line \u2013 proudly known as America\u2019s cruise line \u2013 is teaming up with Costa Cruises \u2013 Italy\u2019s favorite cruise line \u2013 creating a new concept for Carnival\u2019s North American guests when COSTA by CARNIVAL debuts in the spring of 2023 and Costa Venezia joins the Carnival fleet sailing from New York. Costa Venezia will be followed by Costa Firenze arriving in the spring of 2024 to sail from Long Beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carnival will operate the ships, which will marry the great service, food and entertainment that Carnival\u2019s guests enjoy with Costa\u2019s Italian design features. \u201cCosta Venezia and Costa Firenze will bring Carnival\u2019s guests the ambiance and beauty of Italy,\u201d said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. \u201cWe\u2019re going to invite our guests to Choose Fun with Carnival, Italian Style!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duffy said that the ships will continue operating their regular Costa itineraries until they are assigned to Carnival for dry dock work and deployment. Deployment and itinerary plans are being finalized, with the Venezia announcement coming soon given the spring 2023 launch date.
