The D23 Expo, the biennial event for the official Disney fan club, is this weekend in Anaheim, California. This event is often where Disney<\/a> will make major announcements regarding their products. This weekend\u2019s\u00a0event\u00a0will showcase dozens of exclusive reveals and announcements for Disney parks and resorts across the globe.\u00a0 And to kick things off, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Bob Chapek shared exciting news from Anaheim last night as a preview of what\u2019s to come this weekend!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

An all-new Star Wars <\/em>vacation experience is coming to Walt Disney World\u00ae<\/strong> Resort! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Star Wars:<\/strong><\/em> Galactic Starcruiser<\/strong> will be a new, first-of-its-kind vacation experience where Guests will check in for a two-night adventure aboard a glamorous starship.  Once onboard, Guests will interact with characters and become active participants in stories that unfold around them on their galactic journey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside the\u00a0Disney Parks \u201cImagining Tomorrow, Today\u201d pavilion<\/strong>\u00a0at D23 Expo, visitors will be able to see a new model and incredible visuals of the starcruiser \u2013 called the\u00a0Halcyon<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also at Walt Disney World<\/strong>\u00a0Resort, there are big plans for the multi-year transformation of\u00a0Epcot\u00ae<\/strong>, with new experiences that will make the park more Disney, more family, more timeless and more relevant to the millions of Guests who visit each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reinvention of\u00a0Epcot<\/strong>\u00a0will include\u00a0Journey of Water, Inspired by \u201cMoana.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>This first-ever attraction based on the Walt Disney Animation Studios hit film, \u201cMoana,\u201d will let Guests interact with magical, living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside this first-of-its-kind offering within a Disney park, you will discover engaging and interactive exhibits that allow you to step inside the relentless innovation, energy and excitement and see some never-before-revealed details driving the future of\u00a0Epcot<\/strong>\u00a0all throughout this unprecedented period of transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At\u00a0Disney California Adventure\u00ae<\/strong>\u00a0and Disneyland Paris, they are building immersive Super Hero themed lands. Today, we\u2019re thrilled to announce these fantastic lands will be called\u00a0Avengers Campus.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you visit\u00a0Avengers Campus<\/strong>, you will become part of an interconnected, global story that spans from California to Paris to Hong Kong with the Avengers recruiting new extraordinary people to join them.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside our pavilion at D23 Expo, Guests will be able to see an in-story experience where they\u2019ll learn why the Avengers are building these campuses. And on Sunday, we\u2019ll share more details about what our Guests will be able to experience when they open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pavilion will also feature many of the attractions and lands coming to our sites around the world including\u00a0TRON Lightcycle Run<\/strong>\u00a0coming to\u00a0Magic Kingdom\u00ae<\/strong>\u00a0Park, as well as additional expansions in Tokyo and Hong Kong.
