It’s our last day in sunny Fort Lauderdale and there’s only one thing left to do – tour one last ship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

We may have saved the best for last, as we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Holland America Line’s<\/a> newest ship, ms Nieuw Statendam. The ship’s Godmother is none other than Oprah Winfrey and she recently hosted a “girls cruise” on the ship earlier this year. We hope she doesn’t hate us for borrowing this photo, but here is our friend Eva Jenner, Holland America Line’s Vice President of Sales, with the Godmother herself. Cool story about this – it was taken on Eva’s birthday. We joked with her that it was cool that Oprah came to celebrate Eva’s birthday.<\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back to the ship, which is nothing short of stunning. We took almost 300 photos of this gorgeous vessel and have posted them on our Facebook page<\/a>. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch in the beautiful main dining room.<\/div><\/p>\n\n\n\n
