Update on the Star Wars Immersive Resort Planned for Walt Disney World Resort<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last summer, plans for a Star Wars-inspired destination at Walt Disney World\u00ae Resort were unveiled at the D23 Expo.<\/p>\n

Today we are happy to share the location of this exciting addition, which is currently under development on the south side of Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios\u00ae, just east of World Drive. This location will allow the experience to be seamlessly connected to the highly-anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy\u2019s Edge land at Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios, enabling you to fully immerse yourself in the story of Star Wars.<\/p>\n

This experience stands out among all of Disney destinations around the globe. Families visiting this destination will board a starship that comes alive with characters and stories that unfold all around them during their voyage through the galaxy \u2013 and every cabin window has views of space! Guests visiting the multi-day adventure will also be welcome to participate as a resident of the Galaxy by dressing in Star Wars-inspired attire.<\/p>\n

Frightful Fun for Everyone: Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort Returns September 7-October 31<\/strong><\/p>\n

Halloween Time at the Disneyland\u00ae Resort is returning for even more days of wicked fun! Beginning Sept. 7- Oct. 31, 2018, a spell will be cast at both Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure\u00ae Park, transforming the Disneyland Resort into a frenzy of happy haunts.<\/p>\n

This limited-time seasonal celebration will include special attraction overlays, themed d\u00e9cor, seasonal treats and merchandise, plus spooky encounters with favorite characters.<\/p>\n

Oogie Boogie will once again take over Disney California Adventure Park with stylish Halloween decor along Buena Vista Street and a swarm of bats encircling Carthay Circle Theatre. Cars Land will celebrate Haul-O-Ween as Radiator Springs turns into Radiator Screams! For the occasion, Mater\u2019s Junkyard Jamboree will transform into Mater\u2019s Graveyard JamBOOree while Luigi\u2019s Rollickin\u2019 Roadsters changes into Luigi\u2019s Honkin\u2019 Haul-O-Ween. In Hollywood Land, Guardians of the Galaxy \u2013 Mission: BREAKOUT! will transform nightly into Guardians of the Galaxy \u2013 Monsters After Dark.<\/p>\n

Over at Disneyland Park, the Pumpkin Festival will greet guests as they make their way down Main Street, U.S.A. Fan-favorite attractions will also return, including the eerily delightful Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the highly anticipated Mickey\u2019s Halloween Party will host 15 nights of fun. This separate-ticket, after hours event gives you the chance to make your Halloween Time experience even more fun with some exclusive entertainment, Disney characters in their Halloween attire and trick-or-treating throughout Disneyland Park!<\/p>\n

Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 12, 2018.<\/p>\n

New After Fireworks Dessert Party Coming to Magic Kingdom Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do you love fireworks … and dessert? Due to the popularity of the Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom\u00ae Park, there will now be an additional option \u2013 the After Fireworks Dessert Party.<\/p>\n

Now you can experience the legendary fireworks over Cinderella Castle from a special viewing area in the Plaza Garden, and afterwards, head on over to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and indulge in a delicious array of all-you-care-to-enjoy desserts!<\/p>\n

On the menu for this sweet experience are treats inspired by each of the lands of Magic Kingdom Park. Among the offerings are the S\u2019mores Action Station (Frontierland), Pineapple Delights (Adventureland), Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes (Liberty Square), Macarons (Fantasyland), a Cookie Table (Tomorrowland), and Strawberry Tarts (Main Street U.S.A.).<\/p>\n

But there\u2019s more than just desserts! Savory snacks include cheese cubes, spinach dip with crackers, and house-made mini eggrolls. Fresh fruit is also available along with refreshing beverages such as sparkling apple juice, coffee, tea, and milk.<\/p>\n

In addition, on July 3-4, 2018, and select nights during Mickey\u2019s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey\u2019s Very Merry Christmas Party, you can enjoy special themed holiday treats as well as holiday fireworks.<\/p>\n

Reservations are now open for the After Fireworks Dessert Party. Pricing is $69 for adults and $41 for children.<\/p>\n

Mobile Ordering Service Coming to 15 Locations at Disneyland Resort<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new mobile ordering service will be available soon to Disneyland\u00ae Resort Guests via the Disneyland App.<\/p>\n

This convenient, new feature will be available at six Disneyland Park locations \u2013 Bengal Barbecue, Galactic Grill, Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, Hungry Bear Restaurant, Jolly Holiday Bakery Caf\u00e9 and Red Rose Taverne \u2013 and nine Disney California Adventure\u00ae Park locations \u2013 Award Wieners, Clarabelle\u2019s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream, Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, Corn Dog Castle, Flo\u2019s V8 Caf\u00e9, Lucky Fortune Cookery, Pacific Wharf Caf\u00e9, Paradise Garden Grill and Smokejumpers Grill. Order customization will be available directly on the app, including allergy-friendly offerings at select locations.<\/p>\n

Dates Announced For 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays & Candlelight Processional<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019re happy to share that the 2018 Epcot\u00ae International Festival of the Holidays will return to the park Nov. 18-Dec. 30, 2018. The Candlelight Processional also returns this year and for the first time, the popular holiday tradition will open for Thanksgiving on Nov. 22-Dec. 30, 2018.<\/p>\n

The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays invites you to discover holiday cheer throughout the park and across all 11 World Showcase pavilions. Special entertainment, storytellers, seasonal favorites at Holiday Kitchens, and eye-catching holiday decor are all part of the fun. Evenings during this time are topped off with a special holiday presentation of \u201cIllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Candlelight Processional, a holiday must-do for many Epcot Guests, is a retelling of the traditional Christmas story read by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by a massed choir and live orchestra.<\/p>\n
