A tale as old as time is coming to the Walt Disney Theatre on the Disney Dream! An all-star creative team is currently developing a brand-new musical production, \u201cBeauty and the Beast,\u201d inspired by Disney\u2019s live-action adaptation of the animated classic.

You will once again fall in love with the enchanting fairytale as this new production of \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d celebrates the romance, adventure and magic of the live-action film, weaving in the charm and nostalgia of the award-winning animated feature.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d aboard the Disney Dream will bring the timeless fable to life like never before, featuring a style of theater that interlaces classic storytelling elements with cutting-edge technology, to create a unique, theatrical experience in the 1,340-seat Walt Disney Theatre. An innovative take on the story will transform renowned songs into spectacular, show-stopping numbers, and lavish costumes and puppetry will bring a fresh perspective to beloved characters.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d will debut during the Disney Dream voyage departing Nov. 6, 2017, joining an incredible lineup of Broadway-style stage productions aboard the ship, including \u201cThe Golden Mickeys\u201d and \u201cDisney\u2019s Believe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beloved \u2018Beauty and the Beast\u2019 Story Coming to Life with Limited-Time Experiences in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

For a limited time, Fantasyland at Disneyland\u00ae Park will bring the beloved \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d story to life with special experiences that celebrate the classic Disney animated feature.<\/p>\n

Red Rose Taverne \u2013 This dining location at the northwest edge of Fantasyland will magically transform from Village Haus Restaurant into a lively French taverne, with delicious quick-service meals perfect for all ages! Adorned with beautiful murals depicting favorite scenes from Disney\u2019s animated feature, \u201cBeauty and the Beast,\u201d and draped with inviting curtains, each room of Red Rose Taverne tells a different chapter of the tale as old as time. The menu will transform as well, featuring some of your favorite tastes with a French taverne-inspired twist, as well as new signature beverages. And yes, you will be able to try the Disneyland version of the Grey Stuff. (We hear it\u2019s delicious!)<\/p>\n

Royal Reception \u2013 This special merchandise location adjacent to Red Rose Taverne offers keepsakes, apparel and collectibles inspired by both the animated Disney feature as well as the new, live-action film, \u201cBeauty and the Beast,\u201d in theaters March 17, 2017.<\/p>\n

That Gaston \u2013 We all know Gaston loves a taverne, so Guests may find him preening around Fantasyland.<\/p>\n

Maurice\u2019s Treats \u2013 The celebration continues in nearby Fantasy Faire, where each twist on the menu at Maurice\u2019s Treats will be presented with \u2026 well \u2026 a twist!<\/p>\n

The Royal Theatre Presents \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d \u2013 At the Royal Theatre in Fantasy Faire, Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones present their take on \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d in this daily favorite.<\/p>\n

BB-8 To Greet Guests at Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios This Spring<\/strong><\/p>\n

When you visit Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios\u00ae at Walt Disney World\u00ae Resort this spring, you will have more Star Wars fun to look forward to as BB-8, the loyal droid from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, begins character greetings at the park\u2019s Star Wars Launch Bay.<\/p>\n

BB-8 will appear in addition to Kylo Ren and Chewbacca, two characters from the Star Wars galaxy who Guests can regularly encounter at Star Wars Launch Bay. In addition to character greetings, the location also offers you the chance to explore galleries full of treasured memorabilia and authentic replicas of large-scale Star Wars artifacts, including some from the latest film in the franchise, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.<\/p>\n

Star Wars Launch Bay is just one experience that has debuted at Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios to the delight of Star Wars fans over the past two years: \u201cStar Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away\u201d daytime show features characters from around the Star Wars galaxy; while the guest-favorite \u201cStar Wars: A Galactic Spectacular\u201d nighttime spectacular lights up the park each night. Guests age 4-12 can also become Jedi recruits and put their skills to the test in an unforgettable battle against villains like Darth Vader or the Seventh Sister Inquisitor.
