The Disneyland\u00ae Resort Diamond Celebration is the inspiration for a glamorous, television event, \u201cThe Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60,\u201d on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016 on the ABC Television Network.
\n<\/p>\n

Hosted by two-time Emmy Award winner, Derek Hough, the special broadcast will originate from both the heart of Hollywood at the Dolby Theater and throughout some of the most iconic locations at Disneyland Resort, including Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street U.S.A. and Cars Land.<\/p>\n

During the two-hour special, acclaimed actor Harrison Ford, who portrays Han Solo in the \u201cStar Wars\u201d film franchise,\u201d will give viewers an exclusive preview of the Star Wars-themed lands being developed at Disneyland and Walt Disney World\u00ae Resorts.<\/p>\n

Plus, one of the most successful solo artists of all time, Sir Elton John, will captivate audiences as he performs in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park by singing the Oscar\u00ae-nominated song \u201cCircle of Life,\u201d from Disney\u2019s \u201cThe Lion King.\u201d<\/p>\n

And, Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf in \u201cFrozen,\u201d will take viewers on a tour of two very special, rarely seen locations in Disneyland Park \u2013 Walt Disney\u2019s private apartment and the Disneyland Dream Suite.<\/p>\n

The special will also showcase two dazzling displays of technology \u2013 the \u201dPaint the Night\u201d Parade and \u201cWorld of Color\u2013Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney\u201d in Disney California Adventure Park, along with many more.<\/p>\n
