On Sunday, March 15, Bernard and Janice Caffary boarded the Carnival Sensation in Port Canaveral, Fla., for a four-day cruise to the Bahamas \u2013 the 100th time the couple has sailed on the 2,052-passenger \u201cFun Ship.\u201d The Caffarys are the first guests in the company\u2019s 43-year history to sail on a single Carnival ship 100 times. The couple began sailing aboard Carnival Sensation in 2002 with the vast majority of voyages departing from Port Canaveral where the ship has been based since 2006. Sunday\u2019s Carnival Sensation cruise was the Caffarys\u2019 142nd voyage with Carnival overall.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe love cruising and there\u2019s just something about the Carnival Sensation that is so special to us and has helped create a lifetime of so many great memories,\u201d said Janice Caffary. \u201cWhile we love the ship, it\u2019s the Carnival Sensation\u2019s wonderful and attentive team who keep us coming back again and again. They\u2019re like family to us.\u201d Said Bernard Caffary,\u201d The warm and inviting atmosphere from the Carnival Sensation\u2019s crew is evident every time we\u2019re on board. We have created \u2018I Give Crew Hugs\u2019 badges for that very reason. Everyone looks forward to their hugs and so do we.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carnival Sensation and the Canaveral Port Authority truly rolled out the red carpet for the Caffarys. The VIP treatment began the minute the Caffarys arrived at the cruise terminal with Carnival Sensation and port personnel on hand to greet the couple with a custom-made banner. During the cruise, a special video honoring the couple was played during the past guest party and a photo opp with 100 Carnival Sensation team members \u2013 signifying the Caffarys 100th cruise \u2013 was also held.
